With the
SuperCoach, the player can play entire games, receiving
different kinds of balls for each stoke, if so desired,
to improve reaction time and conditioning. What Big
Blue was for chess, the SuperCoach is for tennis.
Dick Gould,
who was the 2000 NCAA Coach of the Year (ITA Coach of
the Decade 1980s, 1990s), and the Head Coach of the
Stanford University's perennial #1 ranked Men Tennis
Team, remarked several times during the SuperCoach demonstration:
"Very impressive." He also commented: "I
didn't think that you can design a machine that can
do all this." He was referring to the way the machine
can change the type and the location of each consecutive
ball.
Version
2.0 increased the flexibility of the programming. It
comes from the factory with preset ball parameters,
so when you receive the SuperCoach you can use the pre-programed
values to program and play. Once you entered a program,
you can customize each and every ball by entering the
EDIT mode. Here selecting ADJUST each and every ball
in the program can be customized as far as where it
lands, how far above the net it travels, how big the
spin is and what is the timing between two consecutive
balls. You can even add spin to a LOB.
The SuperCoach
is much more flexible and fun than any other machine
on the market, and once you tried it, you will never
return to any other kind. The mechanics is manufactured
to very high tolerances and durability using aircraft
grade anodized aluminum and stainless steel components.
The electronics and the accompanying firmware is very
sophisticated to provide the best performance and programming
flexibility currently available on the market.
